I started practicing yoga after having my second child. I wasn't recovering from my workouts anymore-my stress was high and sleep was low. So I tried yoga, as a low intensity workout.
The first class was a hot mess. What the heck were we supposed to be doing? But I'll never forget the first time I felt a sense of peace in savasana.
I work with yoga students and yoga teachers who want to deepen their practice, feel better in their body, manage stress and anxiety and show up with more joy and love.
Yoga is a holistic practice.
Yoga can be essential self care.
Accessibility is necessary-both financially and physically.
Grounded in tradition. My yoga and yoga therapy training is through the Krisnamacharya/Desikichar lineage.
Integrity. I only teach what I have been given to teach and have experience with myself.
